Far and near to the ground we swallowed our fear
Upside down pretending the world is a clock
With a fulcrum up high, I'm a pendulum suspended in time

Grasp the chains, it seems insane to get higher
But with feet outstretched we make the bet that we can
Pumping harder than before with our head at the trees
And with leaves as our goal we bring the prize down in our hand

Leaning back, our hair touches gravel below
Perpendicular slack brings a jolt from our head to our toes
Our shirts tied around our necks in the front
Now a cape bound to the sky preparation to fly

Our arms in front of the chains no room for more height
One last kick in the air, let go, and our bodies take flight
